Behind the Scenes of Mary Poppins

Particularly perfect in every way! Carpe Diem stepped behind the scenes of the spring musical of Mary Poppins, where song and and excitement filled the air. While getting ready for the big show, cast members danced and sang to their favorite Disney music including songs from Mulan, Aladdin and Tangled a tradition for some cast members. But, singing and dancing isn’t the only thing that keeps them going before a show. Mrs. Campbell who is in charge of the choreography for the show, makes sure that bananas are left somewhere accessible to the cast members to eat. Why bananas? They are a great source of potassium which is known for helping muscle fatigue, which is certainly needed in such a physically demanding show. The show helped brighten spirits in an otherwise dreary start to spring!
